Hexagonal Eggshell Tray

Part of the Indochine Collection by Jonathan Charles Fine Furniture, the lacquered hexagonal tray features intricate mosaic work in crackled eggshell, delicately shaded through the application of heat, combined with richly coloured metal foils washed in multiple layers of hardened lacquer.

Jonathan Charles has taken these most traditional of art forms, handed down through generations of craftspeople synonymous region of Indochina; fusing them with modern techniques to forge a collection of limitless possibilities, colourful and very chic.
